Spirit United Soccer Club (SUSC) has released tryout dates for 2012-2013 travel teams. SUSC has the ability to combine top level coaching and player development techniques with oustanding facilities to develop players in a professional and positive environment. Spirit United utilizes a full-time Director of Coaching on a year-round basis to ensure proper player and coach development, resulting in more state and regional championships than any club in Chester County.

 5/6/12 Lancaster, PA - The U17 Phoenix boys team posted two shutouts and scored six goals to win the Red Rose Classic Tournament playing in the U19 Division. The team was the youngest in the division playing against U18 and U19 teams. This is their 2nd tournament win in a row, and they will next play in the FC Delco Cup Tournament over Memorial Day weekend. Congratulations boys!

4/14/2012 - Spirit United Chairman Dave Hatt was honored at today’s Philadelphia Union soccer game as a Hometown Hero. He was recognized for ’creating an environment each day that demands integrity and respect within the community.’ Dave has tirelessly contributed countless hours over the years to establish Spirit United Soccer Club and support youth soccer in the area. You are likely to find Dave on a tractor on one of our fields - be sure to congratulate and thank him! Great job, Dave!!

4/10/2012 - PENN FUSION ’93 BOYS player, KEEGAN ROSENBERRY, played
in the Philadelphia Union’s first MLS Reserve League match of 2012
against the New England Revolution.  He is hoping to get called up again
this weekend to play against the Columbus Crew. This is a great honor for
Keegan who also captained the U18 Union team last summer when they played
against Everton FC U18.  Congratulations Keegan!
 

2/6/2012—The Philadelphia Union schedule is out and Spirit United is once again offering tickets to home games at the discounted rate of $15. This is a great team building opportunity for your players, as well as a great way to enhance their understanding of the game.

There are a limited number of tickets available to each game. Talk to your teams and choose a date that works for you, but don't delay, don't risk missing out on the game you want to see.

Tickets are available to TEAMS first.

Please email me at spirit_tix@verizon.net with the following information:
1. Team name
2. Team contact
3. 1st and 2nd choices of games. Be sure to include date and opponent name.
4. FINAL # of tickets requested.

You will then need to forward a team check for the full amount to secure your tickets. You will have 1 week to do so or the tickets could be released to another team.

I encourage you to talk to your teams and select a date now, take advantage of this great opportunity.

• Choose only 1 person to be the contact! It causes problems when more than one person is making plans.
• Please be sure your number is final before you give me your request, making changes to your number creates problems.
• Tickets will be available on a first come, first served basis.
