SPIRIT UNITED KEEPS SOCCER PLAYERS PLAYING
Spirit United Soccer Club (SUSC) is proud to announce the creation of an elite men’s program. Teams will potentially play in a variety of sanctioned Eastern Pennsylvania Soccer Association leagues, United States Amateur Soccer Association Cup matches and United States Soccer Federation Open Cup matches throughout the calendar year.
SUSC currently fields a team in the West Chester United Tim Davis Men’s League and is looking to create a player pool large enough to enter teams in the Inter County Soccer League Open and Over-30 divisions or United Soccer League Open division and the West Chester United Tim Davis League Over-35 division. An Over-40 program could be created pending interest. The SUSC Men’s teams will also stay active by participating in winter indoor leagues and summer tournaments.
SUSC created this program in hope of continuing the regional success of the SUSC brand beyond the youth level and to create a home for past SUSC players in their adult years.
We are looking for players who wish to compete at an elite amateur level. Players should be prepared to commit to weekly training sessions from March through June and August through November plus additional training as needed for Cup competitions. In addition, players should be prepared for the financial aspect of participating. To be eligible for the FALL 2009 season, open division players must be 23 years old by August 1st, 2009.
Interested players are encouraged to inquire about joining the club. At this time, try-outs will not be held but a determination of skill level will be required at one or more of our training sessions. If necessary, try-outs could be held in the future.
