To ensure the efficient operation and direction of SUSC,
and to accomplish the work of the Club and its Board of
Directors, the Club has committees focused on specific
Club activities and functions.
Inquiries and questions should be directed first to specific team
organizational members, and then to specific Club
committee members. The Club and the leagues in which the
Club's teams compete have designated individuals/liaisons
through whom all questions and concerns should be
directed. The leagues have requested that all questions
and/or issues come ONLY through the Club's league contact.
The Officers and Board of Directors, as well as the
individuals on the Club's committees and assisting in its
support, volunteer their time, expertise and enthusiasm in
support of the Club. Their efforts are greatly
appreciated.
Support
The demands of maintaining the Spirit United Soccer Club as one of
the top youth soccer organizations in Pennsylvania
continue and are growing. There will be increased demands
placed upon the Club, particularly in light of (1) the
USYSA changes to travel soccer, (2) the changing methods
of communication, (3) the increasing demands of a
successful program, (4) the increasingly diverse makeup of
the Club's constituencies, and (5) time and resources are
both limited commodities.
Fortunately, there are many in the Club who would like to become more
involved. To address the Club's needs, the Board has
identified committees that effectively delegate the Club's
functional activities/responsibilities. These committees
follow the axiom that "many hands make little work" and
are established to ensure that the Club functions
smoothly.
The following briefly outlines the
responsibilities of each of the SUSC board committees.
Each of these committees is chaired by a member of the
SUSC board or a volunteer. The Club encourages all who
would like to participate on one or more of these
committees to contact the committee chairperson. The
committees are listed in alphabetical order.
Committees
Arbitration

Club that cannot readily be resolved by the Board of
Directors. As such, it is made up of individuals who have
the experience, expertise, objectivity and wisdom to
fairly resolve such disputes. The decisions rendered by
the committee are final.
