I have been involved with Spirit United for over 10 years. I started as an assistant coach for the U-11 Girls She-Wolves in 1999. During my two years with the She-Wolves, the team won the WAGS tournament, EPYSA State Cup and was a Quarter-Finalist at Region I.
In 2003, I became head coach for U-9 Girls Freedom and coached them for 3 years. I worked with the first team coach, Beth Hatt, to build the two teams for this age group. I was proud of the fact that each year, 2-3 of my players were moved up to the first team.
In 2006, I became head coach for U-12 Girls Frenzy. In my first year, the Frenzy were finalist in the PAGS premier league and champions in the Frederick Cup.
I have 2 daughters, Aly and Julie, and a son, Stephen. All of my children have or are playing for Spirit United. My wife Alison is supportive of my coaching and our children's teams.
Aly's interest in coaching is the reasons why I am still a coach. She is an assistant coach for the Frenzy. Aly played and graduated from West Chester University in 2009.
Julie plays at University of Tennessee.
Stephen plays for Spirit Blue.
I came from Thailand in 1976. After being named a high school suburban all star in the Philadelphia area in 1977, I was a prominent member of the Lock Haven University team that won the NCAA Div. III National Championship in 1978 and the NCAA Div. II Championship in 1980.
As a coach, I want to help guide the players to develop their passion, the love of the game and to play to the best of their ability while having fun.
I am a big fan of Manchester United and enjoy golf.
