Announcement |
The U-15 Lightning Girls put up zeros in Kirkwood with a great all around team effort. The girls started out the weekend on Saturday with back to back shutouts wins over the Plymouth Power and the Manhattan Pride. In Sundays semifinal game the girls once again posted a shout out win over the LDC Green Pythons which put them into the finals where they faced once again the girls from Manhattan in a hard fought game the Lightning struck first and that was all they needed to complete the weekend of shutouts and walk away with the championship. The Lightning will compete in one more fall tournament then take a well deserved break before they begin there Winter training. The girls are coached by Wes Davis.
