Welcome to our first eNewsletter.
Spirit United Soccer Club will be sending out monthly eNewsletter. The information is to help keep our members informed of the upcoming events.

Developmental Spring League Registration

The spring developmental league begins Saturday, April 12th. You can still register online with a late fee of $25, click here.

U9 Boys and Girls Travel Coaches Named

Ciaran Barrett – The new Under 9 Boys Coach
Ciaran started his club soccer with FC Delco Black who were a USYSA National Finalist (runner-up). He played for several Eastern Pennsylvania ODP teams and U-16 & U-18 U.S. Region I Teams. His high school career he played at The Shipley School where he ended his career with 123 goals & 64 assists earning him All-Main Line, Conference MVP and All-State honors for 3 years along with a Regional All-American his senior year. He attended and played at Drexel University where they won an American East Conference Championship. Ciaran continued his playing career after college by playing with the Vereinigung Erzgebirge German Soccer Club, winning the United League and getting to the U.S. Amateur Cup Final. Ciaran is currently coaching in the Player Development and PAGS programs at USTC. Ciaran is also currently pursuing his coaching licenses.

Craig Birtwistle – The new Under 9 Girls head coach.
Craig hails from Birmingham in England where he was the Birmingham UK city schools co-coordinator for soccer. Craig recently coached in New Jersey with Silverdale FC and worked in various camps with players of all ages and abilities. Craig has worked with the Boys Academy at USTC and is a great addition to the Spirit United coaching staff. Currently has an NSCAA Regional Diploma and the FA Level 3 UEFA B.

2008-09 Travel Team Tryout Information

The initial tryouts for each age group is held at USTC by the club on the dates listed below. Players should print the Tryout Registration Form, fill it out and bring it to the first tryout along with $10 (cash only). Each player will receive a t-shirt with number at tryout registration.
